P-1 Visa/O Visa

The P Visas are issued to visiting artists, entertainers, and athletes only for the time needed to complete particular events or tour within the United States. The applicant is allowed to travel in and out of the country or to remain here continuously until the visa
expires. Also, they request for their essential support personnel. Accompanying relatives may stay in the United States with the entertainer. They may attend school, but they may not work.

H-2B Visa

An H-2B visa applies to an alien who is coming temporarily to the United States to perform nonagricultural work of a temporary or seasonal nature, if unemployed persons capable of performing such service or labor cannot be found in this country.

H2-B Visas are also frequently used for Entertainers, who cannot meet for P Visa criteria, enabling them to come to US for specific performances. Such specific bookings are considered temporary positions.
